Job Description

General Summary of Position:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions. You will collaborate closely with the internal teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure that the Salesforce solutions align with business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Customize Salesforce: Design and develop scalable solutions in Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
  • Integrations: Implement and manage integrations between Salesforce and other internal/external systems.
  • Salesforce Configurations: Configure standard objects, workflows, process builder, custom objects, triggers, validation rules, and reports/dashboards.
  • Salesforce Maintenance: Perform regular system audits, data integrity checks, and manage routine Salesforce platform maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather functional and technical requirements.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues within the Salesforce platform.
  • Automation: Implement Salesforce automation solutions (including flow, triggers, process builder) to enhance user productivity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement platform improvements and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Components.
    • Proficiency with Salesforce declarative tools like Workflow, Process Builder, and Flow.
    • Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using REST APIs.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices for Salesforce.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I (required), Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred)
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases (SOQL), web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Salesforce DX and modern development practices.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Communities and Experience Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
