Summary:

We are looking for Operations Manager or Production Operations Manager who can read write and speak Korean language. This role focuses on overseeing cross-departmental activities, managing employees, setting schedules, planning production processes, and ensuring alignment with company goals—core responsibilities typical of an operations or production-focused management position.

Job Title : Production Operations Manager – Korean Bilingual

Location : Coppell, TX

Duration : 12 Months (Contract)

Status : Full onsite

 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the activities of the various departments in the company and is concerned with pricing, sales, production and distribution of the company's products. 
  • Responsible for managing the employees, creating their work schedules and distributing their duties. 
  • Determine employment requirements as well as interviews and hires prospective employees.
  • An operations manager also trains the newly hired employees.
  • Manage all the activities that are associated with the production of the products the company offers.
  • Responsible for managing the performance of the employees such as sales promotions, coordinating with different division leads, planning the layout and design of the store, and setting the prices and credit terms, as well as identifies goods and services to be sold. 
  • Supervise the remodeling of current the amenities and represent the company during client meetings and negotiations.
  • Handle problems in a calm and collected manner, even when under pressure.

Skills:

  • Microsoft office, Word, Excel 
  • Excellent organization and mathematical skills 
  • Familiarity with Windows-based computer programs a must 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
  • Experience with payroll processing and wage attachment
  • 5-7 years of Experience

 

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Plan and distribute daily/weekly input and shipping plan of repair production line.
  • Monitor and ensure the execution of the plan.
  • Review and conduct self-assessment on overall process of operation. 
  • Monitor process execution and ensure alignment with standard process documents.
  • Compile weekly/monthly repair production report.
  • Manage a long-term, customer focused plan, create timeline and define key success indicators that support organizational goals.
  • Report on critical performance metrics on a routine basis.
  • Coordinate and develop cooperation and support from key business owners and stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to roll out new processes.
  • Ensure inter-department priorities are aligned and make sure that management group has all information for making decisions.
  • Oversee, lead and participate in projects meetings with other departments.
  • Ensure completion of tasks and seek the final decision from management.


Background/Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of job-related experience as preference.
  • Experience with MS Office including but not limited to, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Must be able to write, read, analyze and interpret technical journals and procedures. 
  • Must be able to speak in mathematical/statistical terms (normality, probability, complex numbers, and logarithms are commonly used as references).
  • Skilled at evaluating data from multiple angles to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.


Necessary Skills / Attributes

  • The ability to development and maintain excellent working relationships with multiples levels within the company and with external contacts including customers, authorized service agents, sales team members, etc.
  • Must be able to influence others in acceptance, approval and to provide technical clarification. 
  • Ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs and tables of information and to plan and prioritize multiple work assignments.
  • The ability to read, write, provide critical technical review and prepare reports, technical manuals, test procedures and technical product information.
  • Demonstrated English language competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external communications.
  • Knowledge of Korean (speaking, reading, translating to English) is required.
  • Work under very little supervision and guidance to identify and ensure achievement of production team goals and to complete individual work assignments within established time frames.
  • The demonstrated ability to solve problems involving highly diverse conditions requiring creativity to search for solutions among learned things.
  • Exposed to situations where only broad and general guidelines for solving problems exist.
  • Job duties require analysis and judgment of functional practices and daily experiences be used to determine appropriate courses of action.


Top skills: 

  • Previous experience in production line management.
  • Ability to analyze and report the progress result of production management.
  • Knowledge of PC skills, especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
