Job Description

Job Summary/Basic Function:

This position assists in providing oversite of large capital projects (> $500k) and asset renewal projects. They will also be responsible for managing the construction administration phase of small capital projects (< $500k) and maintaining document control for the projects department.

Essential Functions:

• Assist the Director of Projects with construction administration in accordance with Professional Project Managent techniques of large capital projects (> $500k). Included are quality control, scheduling, loss control, change management and closeout.
• Manage the construction administration in accordance with Professional Project Management techniques of small capital projects (< $500k). Included are procurement, quality control, scheduling, loss control, changement management and closeout.
• Maintain document control for the projects department and assist in maintaining an architectural database. Included are updating building documents, maintaining as-built documentation and construction documents in a current condition.
  Prepare reports as requested.
• Manage the installation of asset renewal projects including the coordination of furniture installations, annual painting and carpet replacement projects. Coordinate with the Design Technician.
• Communicate and coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Gather and maintain a project metrics and closeout information database for all projects. Prepare reports as requested.

Required:
Vocational or technical degree in a related filed of study required.

Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree

Experience may substitute for all or some of the education.

• Five years of work experience in construction industry.

Valid Driver's License
